What do I need to know about your assembly services?

When you engage us for assembly services, we’re with you every step of the way, but there are a few important things to consider:

• Site Readiness: The installation site must be ready before the scheduled assembly. This includes clearing any existing furniture and ensuring adequate space for manoeuvring and assembling furniture. If the site is not ready or there are delays, additional charges may apply.

• Accurate Information: Please provide accurate delivery addresses, site access details, and any restrictions. Delivery is to one location and level unless otherwise specified. Unforeseen issues, like restricted access or incorrect information, may result in extra fees.

• On-Site Guidance: A person who knows where the furniture should be installed must be present on-site to guide our installers.

• Electrical Work: Under electrical safety laws, all soft wiring, leads, power poles, and starter sockets are supply-only and must be installed, connected, and certified by a licensed electrician arranged by you. Our assembly services do not include electrical installation.

• Delays and Waiting Time: Installers can wait for up to 15 minutes. Beyond this, additional charges may apply for waiting time.

• Warranty for Assembly: Our assembly work is warranted for one week. Please report any issues, such as loose fittings, within this time. After one week, any callouts may incur an inspection fee.

• Liability: We are not responsible for disassembly, removal, or disposal of existing furniture, or for damages caused by inadequate workspace or access.

• Timeline: Assembly services typically require up to 10 business days from the order date to completion, depending on availability and site readiness.

To avoid delays and additional charges, we recommend double-checking measurements, configurations, and colours, and ensuring the site is fully prepared for installation. If you have any questions or specific requirements, please contact us prior to the scheduled assembly.
